Jenny Russo


Jenny has nearly fifteen years of consumer public relations experience. She has numerous relationships with top-tier media covering consumer and emerging technologies including New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Good Housekeeping, Fortune and Re/code. At CommStrat Jenny works with consumer companies.

Previously, Jenny was a Senior Account Supervisor at Grayling where she worked with clients such as Verizon Wireless, Lowe’s Home Improvement (smart home division), Sidecar, 4moms (robotic baby gear), and The Bouqs (cut-to-order floral delivery). There, she managed the account teams and managed several client programs including the 75 Years of March Madness and PayPal’s 2014 World Cup media relations campaigns. She has also launched several start-ups including Engagor (social media engagement platform), DOGTV (TV channel for dogs) and MyBreastCancerTeam (social network for women with breast cancer).Prior to her work at Grayling, Jenny was an Account Supervisor at Morgan Marketing and PR, a boutique public relations agency. Some of clients there included Galardi Group (Wienerschnitzel Tastee Freez), Togo’s, and Panda Restaurant Group. At Morgan Marketing and PR Jenny managed all accounts, projects and plan development, as well as budgets. Before this, she worked at Atomic PR and handled PR for major brands including Toshiba, Trend Micro, Google and Take-Two Interactive.

Jenny holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from San Jose State University.
