Liz Scanlon is a brand-conscious strategic communications and public relations professional with deep experience working with established brands, challengers and start-ups in a variety of industries. She is a born storyteller with a passion for helping companies develop narratives that resonate with stakeholders and engage customers. Throughout her 20+ year career, Liz has represented consumer products, online learning, e-commerce, small business, financial services, media and mobile companies.
Most recently, Liz drove corporate communications for online learning leader Lynda.com (acquired by LinkedIn for $1.5 billion). While at Lynda.com, Liz drove significant coverage in business, lifestyle and consumer press. She has also held senior communications positions at Art.com, Ofoto.com and the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, and has consulted with LinkedIn, Medium, Ancestry.com, Kodak, Charles Schwab, glassybaby and Get Real Girl, among others. Early in her career, Liz spent seven years at Edelman Worldwide honing her skills in corporate communications, brand strategy and investor relations working with clients such as Visa, Microsoft, Wells Fargo and Odwalla.
